Who we are

This site, theperimenopausehusband.com, is an independent personal project run by "The Perimenopause Husband." It exists to share the ebook Stepping Into the Storm With Her and related free resources. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site, sign up for the free guide, or buy the ebook, and how that information is used.

Information we collect

We collect information in two ways:

When you request the free guide: the opt-in form on the Free Guide page collects your email address. This form is provided by Kit (ConvertKit), our email service provider. We use double opt-in, so you'll receive a confirmation email before you're added to our list.

When you buy the ebook: checkout happens on a secure page hosted by Kit Commerce, with payments processed by Stripe. We receive your name, email address, and purchase details so we can deliver the ebook and provide support if something goes wrong. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe and Kit handle that.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information for security and performance purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.

How we use your information

To send the free guide you requested and the follow-up email series ("The Husband's Corner")
To deliver the ebook you purchased and provide customer support
To keep the site secure and working properly

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

Email marketing

Our email list is managed through Kit (ConvertKit). Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Kit's own privacy policy, available at kit.com/privacy, describes how they handle data on our behalf.

Payments

Ebook purchases are processed through Kit Commerce, using Stripe as the payment processor. Stripe is a PCI-compliant payment provider; your payment details are sent directly to Stripe and never pass through or get stored on this website. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses privacy-friendly analytics that do not use cookies or track visitors across other sites, and does not use Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Public commenting is not currently enabled on this site; if that changes in future, this policy will be updated to describe what's collected.

Who we share information with

We only share information with the service providers needed to run this site and fulfil your order: Kit (ConvertKit) for email delivery and checkout, Stripe for payment processing, and our website/analytics hosting providers. We don't share or sell your information for any other purpose.

How long we keep your information

We keep your email and purchase records for as long as you remain subscribed or as needed to meet our accounting and legal obligations. If you unsubscribe, your email is removed from active marketing within Kit, though some records may be retained briefly for compliance purposes.
